Font Help
I hope to help those of you that are new to
font downloading and installing . It is quite easy after you have installed a
few times .
When you click to download a font from my site
.. save to your desktop . Once download is complete you can then double click to
open . My font files and stationery are zipped using ...
Winzip . Once you have
double clicked font file .. Winzip program opens ... Choose "I agree" then ...
the welcome window appears .. choose "next" . A option appears saying would you
like to add your desktop to your favorites .. I always choose no . Next window
appears is .. "What do you want to do" . Option at top should be selected
already for you .. "Unzip or Install" . If this is so click next . Next window
is .. Select different folder .. otherwise it will unzip to your default folder
"unzipped" . Please click on the "Select different folder" . You will then have
to select/scroll down to your main drive .. double click it . Mine is C drive ..
then scroll down to your "Windows folder" .. double click that as well . Scroll
down to your "Font folder" . Click this folder . Fonts must be installed here to
view . At the top of your Winzip window must be ... C:\WINDOWS\Fonts . If this is so .. click
ok . You are now back at "Unzip now" "Select different folder" window . Click on
"Unzip now" . Your new font is now installed :)
In order for your font to be viewed by the
person receiving your email . They must have font installed as well . A few of
my newest stationery come with "embedded font" . These type of stationery do not
need font installed in order to view . Unless Windows Media Player 9
or 10 is
installed . If so go here for fix at
Letterman's Stationery
. After installed
embedded fonts will then be viewable . This fix is for
Windows Media Player 9 and above only .
I do hope my instructions are easy to follow .
If you need any further help email me . I will be happy to help .
