Eml Help

I create only eml stationery files, they are much easier to use . If you love stationery like I do :) Then you know your Stationery folder can get overloaded quickly. That might be a problem if you have to search through it for a certain stationery .

Eml files cannot be viewed or selected from your main menu in Outlook Express ... Message/New Message Using/Select Stationery . The easiest way to use and save Eml files is to create a new folder in "My Documents" . Double click on "My Documents" on your desktop or go to your Start Menu on your desktop then Programs .. Accessories and highlight/click on Windows Explorer . Once opened you should be viewing "My Documents" . Make sure My Documents is highlighted then go to the top Menu toolbar ..... File/New /Folder . A new folder appears in My Documents ... blinking. You are now able to name your new folder ... example "Eml Stationery" . If for some reason its no longer blinking ... right click the new folder and the option window appears ... choose "rename" and your new folder is blinking ... ready to be named .

Once this is done you can unzip your Eml Stationery to your new folder If you have downloaded to your desktop as I do . Or when downloading Eml zips save to this new folder . You can delete the zips or save to floppy and or cd . I save them for backup ... such as a reformatting or copying to another computer .

Unzipped Emls look like little white envelopes :) . Double click the eml to open with Outlook Express .

Please remember to set up your preview tab . To view special effects and or bkgs for the stationery . Info is on my Stationery Help page .

Hope this has been of some help to you . Email me if you need further instructions .

Take Care
